Mr Robert Chiu was the founder of EFG Bank Asia Pacific Region, and served as CEO, Executive Chairman, and Non-Executive Chairman of the bank spanning 16 years until 2016. He was a member of the Board of Directors of EFG International and EFG Bank between 2013-2016.
Prior to joining EFG, Mr Chiu was the Managing Director & General Manager of Republic National Bank of New York. He was also the Global Head of Private Banking and Head of Private Banking, Asia Pacific Region of Equitor Group of Standard Chartered Bank.
Mr Chiu obtained his Bachelor of Science Degree at Columbia University and his Master of Business Administration Degree at the University of Chicago.

After retiring as a Secondary School Principal, Mrs Bette Li became a Project Director in the Education Bureau, training and supporting thousands of teachers in about 90% of local secondary schools in using English as the medium of instruction. In the process, she also learned much, developing a deeper understanding of education issues. Mrs Li obtained an M.A. in Translation, translating texts such as those in The History of the Grand Ricci Dictionary, and translating and co-translating Chinese University Citations. Currently, she is a columnist for Ming Pao Monthly and has had one article included in the Festschrift for Jin Yong.

Professor Geoffrey Lieu is a healthcare executive, reformer, and educator. He was a director at the Hospital Authority at its inception. Prof Lieu is Founder and Chairman Emeritus of the Institute for Health Policy and Systems Research. He is a Life Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and holds visiting academic appointments in both overseas and local universities. Prof Lieu now focuses his work in advancing the health and healthcare of the elderly, teaches healthcare management and leadership as well as health economics in tertiary institutions. In addition, he serves as an adviser in public policy institutions and non-executive director in private healthcare corporations both overseas and locally.
